Module overview

Duration: 8 weeks / 2 months

Module 2 provides a structured understanding of the New Covenant and its significance within God’s redemptive plan. It examines the promise of the New Covenant, distinguishes it from earlier covenants, and shows how Jesus Christ fulfils its meaning and purpose.

The module then follows the expansion of the Gospel through Christ’s teaching, the early Church, ministry in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, Paul’s missionary journeys and the wider mission to all nations. It also introduces prophecy, eschatology, personal relationship with God, prayer, evangelism and discipleship.

Purpose of the Module

The purpose of this module is to help learners see the Bible as a unified and progressive revelation of God’s promise, fulfilled in Christ, proclaimed through the Church, extended to all nations, and ultimately completed in the future.
